A multi-center, prospective study evaluating exercise intolerance and dyspnea on exertion in patients following first-episode pulmonary embolism with or without deep venous thrombosis

Who Can Participate: Anyone with a PE diagnosis with or without DVT no co-morbidities, weight <300 lbs., able to get an MRI

Age Range: 8-21 years

Gender: Any

Estimated Time Commitment (# of visits, etc.): 3 visits

Study Location: Children’s Medical Center Dallas

Compensation: Visit 1 (Consents): $25, Visit 2: 3months post-diagnosis) : $150/day (total: $450), Visit 3 (12 months post-diagnosis): $150/day (total: $450)
